Large PDFs can use a lot of browser memory because each page must be rendered as an image before the CBZ is created. For long volumes, use a desktop browser, close extra tabs, choose standard detail, or split the PDF into smaller parts.
If the PDF cannot be opened or conversion fails, the file may be encrypted, damaged, unusually large, or too complex for the browser to render at the selected quality.
Use CBZ when your comic reader prefers image archives or when you want a chapter as numbered pages. Keep PDF for documents that need selectable text, links, forms, or print-specific layout.
