Questions

When should I convert PDF to CBZ instead of keeping the PDF?

Use CBZ when your comic reader prefers image archives or when you want a chapter as numbered pages. Keep PDF for documents that need selectable text, links, or forms.

What happens to searchable text and links?

Each PDF page becomes a JPG image. Searchable text, links, form fields, and annotations will not stay interactive in the CBZ.

How should I prepare multiple PDFs for one CBZ?

Name chapters with leading numbers, such as 01-chapter.pdf and 02-chapter.pdf, then check the order list before converting.

Can I change PDF order before creating the CBZ?

Yes. After selecting multiple PDFs, use the order controls to move files up or down before downloading the CBZ.

Which quality and detail settings should I choose?

Balanced with standard detail is best for most comics. Use high quality or large-screen detail for sharp scans, and smaller file when storage matters.

Can password-protected PDFs be converted?

No. Unlock or export an unprotected copy first, then convert that file.

Why might conversion be slow or fail?

Large pages are rendered in the browser and can hit memory limits. Try standard detail, fewer pages, a desktop browser, or split the PDF.

What will be inside the downloaded CBZ?

The CBZ contains flat, numbered JPG files such as 001.jpg and 002.jpg. It does not keep PDF folders, bookmarks, or document metadata.
